Player Hints

Hints for Players:

Things I see a lack of that i suspect would help are:

-actual henchmen (to get a "real" henchmen you generally have to spend time and money) as opposed to tag along/fan henchmen (who have their value but come with "problems"}
-lack of sweet talking/bribing/ hiring those who can give advice traing.
-No sages/oracles
-lack of specific treasure hunting.
-Avoiding LUCK as the source of wealth. Example: Silk is valuable so I will take it to the sea king to sell As it turns out the sea king has mad binding contracts to other merchants to buy his silk only from them. After many lives lost the adventure was worth nothing.
-Lack of high level of preparation. 100 syrs per level of the adventure would be minimum, proably ten times that.
-Giving up after a first failure. Imagine you need to serve the best sushi in Toronto. Would look it up and hire the "best" guy. Would such a guy be on the internet. If you talking middle class best yes, but not five star best. You would be able to just hire the best - at least not in short notice. If you plan two years in advance . . or taking a mule ride in the grand canyon - which had a 2 year waiting list (who know what it is now). .
